Oman’s low-cost carrier, SalamAir, has streamlined international travel by embedding digital connectivity and visa processing directly into its booking platform. Through a partnership with Arcube, the airline now offers a one-stop shop for travelers to secure entry permits and data plans at the same time they book their flights.
This integration is designed for the modern traveler who prioritizes speed and digital-first solutions. By bundling these services, the airline aims to eliminate the friction of juggling multiple third-party sites before a trip.

The update primarily serves passengers flying across SalamAir’s network of 38+ destinations, including popular nomad hubs like Turkey, India, Oman, and the UAE.

The new system offers two distinct features that can be managed via the SalamAir website:
- Global Connectivity: Passengers can choose from over 5,000 data packages covering 213 countries. These eSIMs allow for instant activation upon arrival via a QR code, bypassing the need for physical SIM cards or expensive roaming fees.
- AI-Powered Visas: The e-Visa tool supports 198 nationalities. It uses AI to auto-fill applications and check eligibility rules for destinations like Indonesia and Qatar.
- Real-Time Tracking: Travelers can monitor their visa status 24/7 through the platform, though final approval still rests with government authorities.
